Its Just a Test

The key thing to remember about any situation that presents itself contrary to the promises of God is that “its just a test”.

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

The bible clearly states in 2 Corinthians 4:18* that the things that we see are temporary but everything that matters and is eternal is not seen. This is exactly why as believers we live by faith. (Romans 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”) Faith according to Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Every test is to increase your faith…ROMANS 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Continue to strengthen your faith today by declare the Word of God over your situation. What does the Word of God say about your situation? I challenge you today to rest in God’s Word for your life as you build your faith.

*2 Cor 4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND by Marsha Burns

Beware of those who desire or require your attention. Exercise discernment to know whether or not I am sending them to you. If I’m not sending them, it will be a subtle distraction that will drain you to the dregs. Guard your parameters carefully, and let no one violate your spiritual boundaries. Stay close to Me and do nothing apart from My leading, says the Lord. Your spiritual vitality depends on your obedience.

Acts 17:26 And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, “For we are also His offspring.”
